On May 13th, 2009, Eden Park Illumination attended the Red Herring 100 North America awards ceremony in San Diego, California in an effort to qualify as a top 100 Red Herring Winner. After a presentation and an extensive question and answer session, Eden Park Illumination brought home the golden title of top 100 Red Herring North America Winner.
The Red Herring Top 100 awards the most promising start-up technology companies on the continent. The panel of judges, mostly comprised of technology industry experts and investors, select the winners based on their technological innovation, execution of strategy, financial performance, and managerial quality. Receiving unmatched exposure and recognition, past winners of the Red Herring award (such as Google, Skype, Yahoo!, Youtube, Salesforce.com, Netscape) are proof that Red Herring spotlights technological potential early on and fosters innovative, promising ideas.
